For those who require support or supervision with personal tasks or daily activities, whether at home or in the community, we are here to assist you with your everyday needs so that you can live as autonomously as possible. We ensure that you participate as much as possible in all activities so that your self determination is met, with dignity and respect. Where you cannot undertake any participation or not wanting to engage, we will follow up to ensure your comfort needs are met.
Ready Ability Care Services (RACS) can ensure that you are given choice when assisting you with:
- personal hygiene activities, such as showering, oral hygiene, dressing or grooming
- toileting or bladder and bowel management and incontinence care
- feeding (includes orally or via the high skills care such as PEG or Naso Gastric Tube feeding)
- mobility (for transfers between the bed, chair toilet etc) and ambulation (using wheel chairs, walking frames, pelican belts or hoists)
- medication management (Staff are training with the Nationally Recognised Certification in Administering Medication (including insulin and Schedule 2,3 4 and 8 Medication)
- attending appointments (staff transport or own transport. RACS has a vehicle for electric hoist for 2 wheelchairs and 5 seats)
- shopping (and grocery packing)
Through our service, we will ensure that your day-to-day routine is achievable and manageable with as much ease as possible. Our service is tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
